Are Metals in ayurveda medicine a real threat ?

i am asking this question as i heard from many friends Ayurveda medicines contain metals, please make us understand more about it.

if this is true? and if true how can we be aware?

In my opinion it is important to go to a proper trained Ayurveda physician who knows his medicines well.

some Ayurveda medicines do have metals , but not all,
it is also Important to note , that ayurveda medicines have to be followed up with an ayurveda doctor as he will know his stuff and guide you,

self medications can also be poison.
